The David Rodger's UK based Steam Locomotive Safari Tour tour came to Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa during May/June 2007

Tuesday 29th May 2007 - Umgeni Steam Railway prepares for the long trek to Creighton

Wednesday 30th May 2007 - sees the long train rolling out from Masons Mill

Saturday 2nd June 2007 - mid-morning coaling stop at Donnybrook, watering at Inglenook and turn around at Deepdale

Sunday 3rd June 2007 - sunrise behind Creighton Golf Course, 19D No.2669

Sunday 3rd June 2007 - Ngangwane Gorge mid-morning - 19D No.2669 up and GMAM No.4074 down

Monday 4th June 2007 - 07h00 from Creighton to Donnybrook, using GMAM No.4074 for last time

Tuesday 5th June 2007 - a "rest" day while Umgeni Steam Railway staff shunt the Garratt GF No.2380 ready for Albert Falls

Wednesday 6th June - SLST back in action with Garratt GF No.2380 at Albert Falls

Thursday 7th June 2007 - SLST's final day with Garratt GF No.2380 at Thornville and Baynesfield
