Our projects are costly.  Maintenance on the locos, renovating locos & coaches, upgrading the sleepers on the track, purchasing new rolling stock, etc. etc.

Whilst every effort is made to use volunteers and hence minimize costs involved in the running of and maintaining the existing stock it is simply down to the sale of tickets for running days that provides the necessary funds required.

Other methods are fund raising projects and sponsorship programs.

Our current projects are the 3BR No.1486 built in 1912 (completed May 2008), the 14R No.1576 built 1914 by North British Locomotive Company and the GMAM No.4074 built in 1954 by Beyer Peacock
